FINANCIAL TRANSPARENCY
VeriBiz is
committed to financial transparency for several reasons. First,
it is essential to gain not only the public's trust, but the
trust of VeriBiz members as well. Second, it is important to
understand what the financial obligations of VeriBiz are and
to publish how those obligations are fulfilled. VeriBiz needs
to meet ongoing expenses in order to effectively operate as
a service entity and represent the hosting industry. VeriBiz
is also committed and will periodically make available to the
members and the public, financial statements with respect to
VeriBiz operations. An independent
CPA firm as well as internal auditing procedures monitor
and cross-check every aspect of financial data. After, and if
operating expenses are paid in full, the Board of Directors
shall decide how to spend net proceeds on behalf of VeriBiz
and the web hosting industry at large. The application and annual
membership fee is $125.
