Clarence Briggs
Mr. Briggs is a co-founder of VeriBiz and has worked in the Internet industry for three years to include serving as Chief Executive Officer of a large web hosting company. Before co-founding VeriBiz, Mr. Briggs served as a U.S. Army infantry officer for 12 years on various assignments throughout the world. Mr. Briggs is a two-time combat veteran,  has commanded an infantry company, served as a Division logistics officer, MSC staff officer, doctrine and tactics instructor, and has managed millions of dollars in assets, equipment, and thousands of personnel. He graduated from the Ohio State University with honors and as the Distinguished Military Graduate and holds a M.A. degree in Strategic Studies and Public Policy Analysis. Mr. Briggs is a published author and former CEO of Decisive Point Computer Graphics and Consulting.

Jan Christensen
Jan Christensen is of counsel to the law firm of Howrey & Simon in Washington, D.C.  She specializes in trademark, copyright, and internet issues, with extensive experience in trademark clearance, prosecution, and protection, (both domestic and foreign), licensing, and resolution of domain name disputes. Ms. Christensen is a member of the District of Columbia bar, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the International Trademark Association, the Cyberspace Law Committee of the American Bar Association, and the Computer Law Association. Marcus Trathen
Mr. Trathen is a Partner at Brooks, Pierce, McLendon, Humphrey & Leonard, L.L.P. He concentrates his practice in the field of communications and media law, including related high-technology issues, administrative law, intellectual property, and litigation in those areas.  His communications practice includes telecommunications, common carrier regulation, Internet issues, competitive service offerings, broadcast licensing and regulation, and media and First Amendment issues.  Mr. Trathen practices primarily before the Federal Communications Commission and the North Carolina Utilities Commission. He is a Member of the North Carolina Bar, the Federal Communications Bar Association, the North Carolina Bar Association,  and the American Bar Association.  Admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C.
